Bobbie Mangini (born December 18, 1970) is an American human resources professional, actor, and volunteer. She is the Human Resources Manager at Atlas Staffing in Mount Prospect, Illinois, and is also known for her volunteer work with local charities and her involvement in community programs such as Operation Santa.

Early Life and Education

Mangini was born in Medinah, Illinois, as the fifth of six children. She attended Driscoll Catholic High School, Resurrection High School, and Barrington High School, graduating early in December 1988. She began her college studies at Harper College before transferring to DePaul University in Chicago. In 1994 she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology, with minors in Psychology and Criminal Justice.

Career

Mangini’s early career included roles in hospitality as a bartender and waitress before transitioning into human resources. She later became Human Resources Manager at Atlas Staffing, where she worked on recruitment, employee support, and workplace operations.

Alongside her business career, Mangini pursued acting and modeling. Beginning in 1998, she studied at Act One Studio and Acting Studio Chicago, later continuing training in Los Angeles. She has appeared in independent productions and continues acting studies under actor Sean Kanan.

Volunteering and Community Work

Mangini has been active in volunteer organizations including the Salvation Army, where she assisted with food pantry programs and the Red Kettle campaign, and the FISH Food Pantry in Carpentersville, Illinois. From 2018 to 2022, she served on the board of trustees at FISH. She also founded Operation Santa, a holiday initiative providing Christmas gifts to children in need.

She supports additional charitable causes such as redHOT for Change in San Francisco, which benefits La Casa de las Madres, a shelter for survivors of domestic violence. More recently, she has volunteered at Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles.
