Mitch Seaworth
Mitch Seaworth is an American coach, community volunteer, and lifelong sports enthusiast from Bismarck, North Dakota. He is recognized for his involvement in youth athletics, his volunteer work with local organizations, and his creative pursuits in photography.
Early Life and Education
Mitch Seaworth was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota. He spent summers fishing at the lake with his family, a tradition he continues today. During high school, he played baseball, basketball, and unified flag football, developing a strong interest in athletics and teamwork.
Seaworth graduated from St. Mary’s Central High School in 2018. He went on to attend Bismarck State College, where he earned an athletic coaching certificate in 2021. In 2022, he completed his state Title 1 paraprofessional certification. He has also completed additional coursework online from various universities.
Career
Bismarck Larks (2019)
In 2019, Seaworth worked with the Bismarck Larks baseball team, gaining early experience in sports operations and youth engagement.
Coaching Roles (2021–Present)
Beginning in 2021, Seaworth coached recreational baseball teams in Bismarck. He later took on coaching responsibilities for a local middle school squad. In addition to baseball, he has completed internships in both football and basketball, highlighting his versatility as a coach. His approach emphasizes building confidence and character alongside athletic skill.
Community Involvement
Seaworth is active in local volunteer work. He has contributed time to the Central Dakota Humane Society, the Salvation Army, and local soup kitchens. At his church, he assists with livestreaming services. He also participated in community service projects during high school.
Personal Life
Outside of coaching and volunteering, Seaworth enjoys fishing, golfing, and playing slow-pitch softball. He has been fishing since the age of three. Photography has become a more recent passion, with Seaworth regularly capturing local sporting events and North Dakota landscapes.
He is also an avid traveler and sports fan. Seaworth has attended national collegiate sporting events, including the College World Series, the Fiesta Bowl, and NCAA March Madness basketball tournaments. Professionally, he supports teams such as the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings.
